  • At Climasolar, we’re 100% Australian owned and operated, with offices across Victoria, New South Wales, Western Australia, and Queensland — proudly supporting both metro and regional communities.

When we started Climasolar, we started with one goal in mind, to make premium solar affordable to every Australian. Our mission has been to ensure the everyday Aussie has access to quality installation and workmanship without having to break the bank (or settle for a cheap sub-optimal system).

With over 200,000 solar panels installed nationwide, we’ve helped thousands of Australians take control of their energy bills and reduce their environmental impact. Our core team brings together 25 years of combined experience in renewable energy and climate action, driven by a shared passion for real sustainability.

We design and install custom solar solutions that suit your roof, energy needs, and budget — with a focus on quality, transparency, and ongoing local support. At Climasolar, we believe going solar should be straightforward, affordable, and built to last.

  • At Climasolar, we are one of the very few companies still existing in the solar industry that actually take the time to send a specialist out, in an industry where most companies want you to spend thousands via email without even seeing the home they’re working with, we prefer the traditional approach,

During your appointment, one of our solar specialists will take the time to review your energy bills and learn about your household’s energy usage, lifestyle, and long-term goals. Whether you're aiming to lower your electricity costs or make a positive environmental impact, our advice is tailored to suit your needs.

We’ll walk you through the most suitable solar options for your property — considering your roof size, budget, and energy habits — and explain how government rebates, feed-in tariffs, and flexible finance options may apply.

Our aim is to make your appointment informative and worthwhile. After speaking with a Climasolar expert, you’ll gain:

    • a clear understanding of your current energy usage and how solar can help reduce costs;

    • expert guidance on the most effective solar setup for your home;

    • insights into potential savings and your estimated return on investment; and

    • support from a team with decades of experience in the Australian solar industry.

We’re committed to providing honest, practical advice — focused on delivering real value for your home and future.

  • If you have solar, it’s important to regularly review your energy plan to get the most value from your system. When comparing deals, look for:

    • The lowest energy usage (import) rate

    • The highest solar feed-in tariff (export) rate — some retailers offer up to 10c/kWh

    • The lowest service charge (the fixed daily cost of having energy connected)

You can use trusted comparison tools like the government’s Energy Made Easy website to find the best deals available.

Key takeaway: Aim for a plan with a high feed-in tariff and low import and service charges to maximise your solar savings and reduce your energy bills.

  • Sometimes old school is best, we believe heavily in first impressions, meaning respectful and transparent communication. Solar is not something you can buy online and have shipped to your door, the key is to ensure the company you work with is reputable, trustworthy and will ensure your ongoing support, our key ingredient is actually having someone you can see and speak to, putting a face in front of the name. We aren’t just some call centre, we are real people.

Our door to door approach helps us with our community program meaning all of our customers are in the same area at any given time, it centralises costs and enables us to stand behind our no upfront cost promise.

All Climasolar representatives carry official ID and follow strict professional standards. Our installers are fully SAA accredited to ensure quality and safety.

If you ever have questions or want to verify a Climasolar representative, you can contact our friendly customer support team at [email protected] or call us on (03) 8652 9245.

  • No, Climasolar is not aligned with any multi level marketing companies and does not rely on recruitment to generate income. Climasolar is a top rated solar retailer/installer specialising in residential and commercial solar installations.

We know the program on the surface may seem “too good to be true,” let’s be honest, who doesn’t want solar that essentially pays for itself?

We’ve designed it specifically with the everyday Australian in mind, solar isn’t sexy, it’s not a new kitchen or a holiday, it’s an investment (a great return investment) but still something that doesn’t drive instant gratification.

This is the reason we’ve designed the program, we centralise our resources meaning we know how many installations we will get in one area so we can absorb the upfront investment, the customer is then able to have solar installed and not have to come up with thousands to do so. We then calculate the payments in line with the electricity costs to minimise any changes to your cashflow, all of this interest free with no scary charges.

  • Solar panels convert sunlight into direct current (DC) electricity. This is then converted by a solar inverter into alternating current (AC), which powers your home — running everything from lights to fridges and washing machines. By using the energy you generate, you reduce how much electricity you need to draw from the grid.

Any excess solar energy that you don’t use is sent back to the grid, and you receive a feed-in tariff as a credit on your energy bill. A smart meter tracks how much energy your system generates, how much you use, and how much you export — helping ensure accurate billing and savings.

If you're curious about how solar could work for your home and energy needs, book a free call with one of our Climasolar specialists. We're here to make it easy to understand.

  • Your solar savings will depend on several factors, including:

    • The size of your system

    • Your location and local sunlight hours

    • The orientation and shading of your roof

    • Your household’s energy usage habits

    • The quality of the products installed

At Climasolar, our team will assess your property and energy needs to provide clear, personalised guidance on your potential savings. We’ll design a custom solar system that’s built to maximise efficiency, reduce your power bills, and deliver long-term value.

With the right setup, many of our customers see significant savings from day one — and even more over time.

  • The cost of a solar system depends on a few key factors — including the size of the system, the quality of the panels and inverter, and the complexity of the installation.

While low-cost systems may seem appealing, they often come with limited warranties, minimal support, and reduced efficiency — which can lead to higher maintenance costs over time. A well-designed, high-quality system may cost more upfront, but it typically delivers better performance, longer lifespan, and a stronger return on investment.

At Climasolar, we only use trusted, high-quality products and offer comprehensive warranties along with reliable aftercare through our ClimaCare program. Our team can provide you with clear, tailored advice on pricing, performance, and payback time based on your individual needs and energy goals.

  • Yes — Australian homeowners are eligible for the federal government solar rebate through the Small-scale Renewable Energy Scheme (SRES). At Climasolar, we apply this rebate directly as a point-of-sale discount, so your upfront cost is reduced from day one.

While state rebates for solar may sound appealing, the reality is that accessing them often involves excessive red tape and delays that can ultimately harm the customer experience. These programs typically require strict eligibility criteria, lengthy approval processes, and frequent changes in policy—making them unpredictable and difficult to navigate.

Rather than relying on unstable and bureaucratic state programs, we’ve structured our offering to provide immediate, straightforward benefits without the wait. Our focus is on affordability and simplicity: clear pricing, fast installation, and no hidden hurdles. This allows our customers to start saving on their energy bills right away, without months of back-and-forth with government departments.

In short, we choose to bypass the complications of state rebates to deliver a faster, more transparent, and hassle-free solar solution.

Currently using the WA state battery rebates, It gives the grid provider access to your battery power whenever they need it. Taking advantage of your investment.

  • Solar panels work best in direct sunlight, but they can still generate electricity in indirect light or on cloudy days — though at a reduced output. The amount of energy your system produces will depend on the quality of the panels, your roof orientation, and any shading from nearby trees or buildings.

To get the most from your system, it’s important to choose high-quality products that perform well in all conditions. At Climasolar, we only install trusted, top-tier solar panels designed to deliver strong performance and long-term reliability.

Our team can assess your roof’s position and shading to design a system that works best for your property. Request a call and a Climasolar specialist will talk you through what to expect based on your specific home and location.

  • In most cases, there's no need to turn your solar system off during a storm. Solar panels and inverters are designed to withstand tough Australian weather conditions, including heavy rain and strong winds.

However, if extreme weather is forecast — such as a cyclone or major flooding — it’s best to follow your system’s shutdown procedure as a precaution.

If you suspect that your system has been damaged or has come into contact with floodwater, do not attempt to inspect or restart it yourself. Contact an accredited installer to check it safely.

If you have any concerns about your system after a storm, contact Climasolar at (03) 8652 9245 or email [email protected] — we’re here to help.

  • In most cases, solar panels require very little maintenance. Rainfall usually does a good job of keeping them clean, especially if your roof has a decent pitch.

However, if you notice a drop in system performance or if your panels are located near trees, dust, or bird activity, it might be worth getting them checked. In those cases, having a local handyman or professional give them a gentle clean can help restore efficiency.

You don’t need to clean them regularly — but keeping an eye on your system’s output will help you know if and when it’s worth doing.
